I have ordered from Eddie's a few times but last night was my last. I decided on a breast of chicken chow main and shredded chicken. I had not tried these dishes from there as I love the chow main from the shanghai wok in high blantyre but decided to give it a go. I see why the shredded chicken comes with a sauce all over it. I opted for the sauce to be separate but ended up pouring it all over as the chicken was extremely tough and greasy. Inedible. The chow main was disgusting. It was basically just boiled noodles with boiled onions and bean sprouts. That's it. No sauce, no seasoning, no flavour. It was that tasteless I had to pour half a tub of curry sauce over it which didn't improve it much. I was charged extra for a "breast" of chicken which it clearly was not. It was just horrible little shreds of chicken. To top it off we got half way through the bag of prawn crackers and bam... a big thick black hair. Now fair enough these things happen but how was it not noticed and why aren't hair nets being used in the kitchen. £14 of sheer disappointment for hangover food that made me feel worse. I'll stick to the Shanghai Wok from now on. Treat myself to a little flavouring.
