Takari what can I say? Well, I thought the name and the design would have meant that the food would be mediocre, how very wrong I was.

I am very particular about my curries. I like curries to be spicy but I would prefer my mouth to be able to taste the flavours, that is the sign of a good curry, the Curry Leaf lived up to what a good curry should taste like.

For starters I got the Prawn Puri. The sauce was superb, spicy but tasty, in that sauce there was the most succulent crunchy prawns a woman can wish for wrapping this most superb meal was the puffed wheat bread which was not soggy from the sauce but "puffed" as it said.

My friends not a big fan of the spice so she opted for the mild but lovely Mango chicken. She exclaimed with joy "this Mango Chicken is delicious!" She is not an excitable character, so that has some meaning behind it.

I also went for the "milder" option and picked the Chicken Dhansak. Before I review this Dhansak, I will have to report that I have been to many high class expensive Indian restaurants and have never been so excited by the juiciness of a Chicken Dhansak as I was when I wolfed this one down. The chicken was tender, juicy, melt in your mouth (almost) amazing. The sauce was mouthwateringly delicious, with a nice kick to it (though, it does say mild I would say it was more of a medium).

As I have gone on and on about the food, the quickness of it was great, it came well within the time zone and the delivery guy was lovely, deserving of a tip!

I give The Takari an A+.

Maybe the value for money isn't the best, but the quality of food and level of service make up for it."
Well done TAKARI
