AnnaJan 21, 2022Just beyond frustrated with this restaurant in all honestly. The food is great, don’t get me wrong, it’s you’re standard home cooked feeling food with zero complaints there, my complaint is at the service. I’ve been order here regularly for several years now (at least 4), often a few times a week since I don’t cook lol, and the first few years there was zero issues, everything was there and arrived quickly etc, but the last year it’s been problem after problem, there’s almost ALWAYS something missing, I’ve been out of pocked so many times; I don’t know if they changed staff in the last year compared to the start, or if the staff just stopped caring as much, but it’s the final straw now I’ve just had enough of not getting the items I’ve paid for, time to look for a new restaurant
Unhappy customerMay 25, 2021Ordered 2 steak baguettes, chicken mayo, cheese and red onion panini,and a caesar salad.
The meat in the baguettes was burnt to a cinder, inedible, and honestly unsure as to how someone filled those baguettes with that meat and thought it was acceptable. It smelt burnt upon opening the wrapper it came in so even if the food preparer was blind, the smell alone should alert them that it isn't fit for human consumption. There also wasn't any fried onions on them either, unless they were amongst the charcoal lumps of meat. I'd like an email address to send you the pictures of the baguettes. The salad was described as having, tomato, Cucumber, sweetcorn, pineapple, coleslaw.. None of this was on the salad.. Had a handful of lettuce, chicken, croutons and about 3 handfuls of cheese. Which just overpowered the taste of the caesar sauce. The panini however was fine and edible. I would like a refund on the meals that were inedible but this is probably unlikely , I would suggest however that you invest the 20 quid of my order on 3 hours staff training to get your team upto speed with food standards and menu knowledge.
