MoniqueMar 1, 2020I ordered the food at 4pm the food came at 5.30pm very lukewarm, no coleslaw. I ordered the curry goat only to find 2 pieces of meat and the rest was bone in a watery sauce, not cooked thoroughly, they have dumplings on the menu which I ordered only for it to be festival which is a sweet dumpling.
I also ordered the cornflake cake which was stale.
Clearly theses people are not from the West insides as no West Indian would churn out food that was average, stale and cold.
I should have cooked it myself and save my money, but lesson learned. By the way just in case you think of calling me out for being racist, I am a black woman, more to the point have West Indian parents that know how to cook. Your food is disgusting.
n/aNov 1, 2019Went in to order some food and asked the member of staff whether any of the meals contained nuts, due to me suffering from a nut allergy. The staff member asked her colleagues in the back kitchen.. at which point I was made to feel as though I wasn't welcome - AT ALL. One of the guys from the back came and stood in the doorway to the front of house area, loud and rude he said to me 'to protect myself, to cover myself, EVERYTHING has nuts in' he continued to repeat this 3 times. I felt stupid and embarrassed. In this day and age if you haven't thought about allergies it's embarrassing for you as a restaurant. I replied 'so I am unable to eat anything?' he shrugged and walked into the back. A guy next to me said, 'surely she can eat fried chicken'. I will not be visiting this place again! To anyone who has a food allergy, I would also advise you not to either as their grace to the matter was hideous.
