We live local and China inn (Felling) is our go to Chinese. Never been dissapointed. The food from here is always lovely and the portion size spot on. Been ordering here for ages and have never had a problem. Staff are all friendly and polite. 👍🫶⭐️

I visited China Inn in Felling, on Sunderland Road next to Felling Metro Station. I was greeted when I arrived, he was very polite. Unfortunately my first part of my order they didn't do which was Beef and Tomato... he said they don't do this dish. Which I was very surprised, I thought beef and tomato was a star on all Chinese Menu's

I placed my order...
1: Beef and black bean, fried rice, noodles and chips
2: Currys and Chips
3: Crispy Duck and boiled rice.

When I placed my order and they started preparing my order. The kitchen was just behind a wall with a wide opening. In the 15 minutes it took to give me my bag my food, I didn't hear and woks moving around or the aroma of freshly prepared food. It looks like all the food is prepared prior to opening the placed into the microwave to heat up... according to my wife who is Chinese she was very disappointed, said the fried rice looked like it was scraped from the bottom of the rice bowl, looked like left over rice was and very dry. Noodles was very dry too, with no bean sprouts or onions. Also the Duck was over cooked, looked like the ends of the duck with no meat just scrap meat. In my opinion
food is very poor and overpriced. Talking about overpriced my son wanted a small extra carton of curry this cost £3.90. I didn't mind paying this until I saw the size of the carton, more than a thimble.

I will not be going back, would recommend this takeaway. Food not cooked on site and very overpriced.

My wife said this was the worst Chinese she had eaten.

Sweet &sour special turned up with no sweet &sour sauce.got offered free prawn crackers on my next order.said couldn't eat it without the sauce.waited 30mins for the sauce to arrive and was pure vinegar.im a chef of of nearly 40 years and could have made better myself in 3 mins but fancied a night off.waste of £23 for our order.totally inedible
