Unhappy CustomerJun 24, 2018This is my first time using this restaurant. I wanted to support local business so decided to order from them. My order was not complicated or difficult and was told would be up to 45 minutes. Initially I was impressed with the tool used to track your order. I then noticed that every time it came to the time for the delivery, it went up by 10 minutes. 1 hr and 20 minutes in, I called the restaurant who told me that the order was ready but they were waiting for the driver to collect and deliver to me. I asked if the food would be hot and they said yes. 2 hours later, the driver arrived (at this stage we were looking out for him). He was on his mobile phone when he came to my door and did not say anything to my husband but just handed over the food. My order was short by 2 things but by then and while waiting, I had read all the reviews online so did not contact the restaurant, also by then the restaurant was closed. What a shame I will not be ordering from this restaurant again. Black people need to know how to run their businesses so they get support from their people. I really want to promote West Indian cooking but sadly I am ashamed to recommend any restaurants to any of my friends as either the face to face/over the phone or online experience does me or them no favours. I would rather invite them to family functions or cook for them myselves. May not be quite up to restaurant standard but truly representative of black culture I know.
James LawJan 26, 2018Appalling service. Average delivery time is around 2 hours. And then when the food eventually arrives the driver is extremely Rude. And to then top it off half the order was missing. When I tried to call and explain my issue they decided to put me on hold for more than 20 minutes and then the phone cut off. They then didn't answer the phone at all after this. Safe to say I wont be eating from there ever again.
