The Balti chicken mitali is one of the more uncommon dishes, a delicious chicken dish cooked in a special mild fresh cream and tropical fruit sauce. For those who enjoy a touch of spice in their food, the Elaichi Special is well worth a shot, comprising of succulent king prawns and chicken cooked in a spicy sauce with whole green chillies, while the Balti tandoori special mix is ideal for trying a little of everything, featuring tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, tandoori king prawns and seekh kebab.
Although small in size, the Elaichi dining room is an attractive space. Funky flowery wallpaper features on one wall and really brightens up the place whilst tall leather seats and white linen topped tables create a smart effect. The ambience is buzzy and service is excellent at Elaichi, a great little Indian eatery in Cannock.
