PJ FothergillJun 20, 2019I urge consumers not to use Freda (the trader behind this company) or the companies she keeps setting up. We paid her in full to deliver our wedding cake and on our special day, it never materialised. We were told varying accounts as to why she failed to deliver our wedding cake on our wedding day, but ultimately she conceded to pay us a full refund plus compensation for not organising a replacement with a local company.
We are convince Freda either wanted to take our money and run, or realised too late that she would not be able to drive to deliver the cake and just decided not to bother.
We subsequently took Freda to court after she stopped replying to us. We won by default due to her not appearing and then had to arrange for county court sheriffs to pursue the debt, yet they were refused entry at each address she moved to to avoid this debt.
I have seen from other reviewers that they had similar experiences and I encourage them to seek all legal options through citizens advice.
We will continue to pursue all legal options in order to reclaim our funds.
One more thing, the money we spent on our expensive wedding cake was given to us by my elderly grandmother. Imagine a trader being comfortable knowing that.
AmeliaFeb 25, 2019Cakes were tasty and looked same as advertised, this is the second time I have used this service and the second time was a better experience than the first because the first time the delivery came an hour later than expected but this time the cakes were delivered within the delivery time frame that I chose.
NavtimaJan 30, 2019Placed an order two weeks before in January 2019 and ordered never arrived. Telephone never answered so manage to live do live chat to confirm afternoon delivery but order still not arrived. So later afternoon we discovered that order will never come and we are still waiting f for refunds. Poor service and we are still not sure if this was a scam.
JDNov 29, 2018Order was late, and had to be postponed to next day. Next day, order was late again. No explanation, no contact, no apologies whatsoever.
The courier company they use sent emails that made no sense at all.
Horrible experience. Never again!
