Seafood options of prawns, be they regular of king sized, come swimming in Korma, Madaras or Karai sauce but the special of the sea is the delectable Macha Ko Jhol, a dish of diced pangasius fish prepared in a medium sauce with rich coconut milk, making it both a tameable and exotic dish. If the kids don?t fancy something spicy their own set menu offers more familiar food such as chicken nuggets and fish fingers, but if they do feel like venturing out their palates there is the mild Ginger Delight, a small portion of creamy chicken korma or tasty chicken tikka masala with rice or chips. Ideally placed, Ginger Restaurant finds itself next to the National Museum of Scotland, Holyrood Park and a short walk from Edinburgh Castle, making it the perfect spot for a filling lunch or a delicious dinner after a day of absorbing Scottish culture.
