JonDec 24, 2017We have ordered from La Bella, Selby over 4 times in the past year through our Just Eat app, each time the food was good although delivery was a lot later then stated. However, we placed an order back in late September 2017, had not delivered several hours past the stated delivery time so on speaking with Just Eat (as no answer at the shop) the order was cancelled and a full refund given. Felt really let down and disappointed by not having this stated delivery from La Bella and also felt very hungry!!
On Saturday the 23rd of December we decided to place an order for delivery from La Bella going through Just Eat using a voucher we had been given. The order was accepted this being £24.70 in total with 50p card charge and £4.00 delivery on top. When some time had elapsed past the delivery time stated the shop was rung and we were told it was on it's way. Shortly afterwards the delivery driver rang our house phone and spoke to my wife. He was unable to find our property, even though La Bella had delivered here 4 times in the past year! My wife re-confirmed the address and postcode and the delivery driver confirmed he had sat nav which he said he updated weekly. Directions were also given for entering Snaith from Selby. Sometime later the delivery driver rang back as he could still not find our property. When we explained he must know where he was going as he had correct address and sat nav he became very rude and cross. He finally said he was going back to the shop in Selby and that we would have to come and collect it if we wanted our food, then hung up. Shortly afterwards a lady telephoned us from Just Eat and we explained the situation. She could see on our account that we had ordered and had deliveries successfully 4 times in the past year, so not being able to find us with a sat nav and correct address was no excuse. She said she would call the shop and speak to them and then call us back. This she did saying she had tried to speak to the owner and that as the food had not been delivered the order was to be declined and a full refund given.
This has been the second time we have had problems and our order not delivered by La Bella, and left very upset and hungry late in the evening! If you are busy La Bella don't say a time you will be delivering knowing too well it is going to be way past that time. Also make sure delivery drivers are aware of the correct address and have use of a sat nav, should they get lost it would also help to be courteous to the customer when phoning them and also to not loose their temper!
Due to these past 2 bad experiences with La Bella, non delivery of food and rude delivery drivers we are sorry to say that we will no longer ever place an order with them again.

Paige MarshallMar 18, 2017We ordered a take away online and received the wrong pizza,we rang them and explained the issue and the service we got over the phone was disgusting.
The young boy who answered wasn't any help and asked me to 'wait' and put someone else on the phone who then was extremely rude and hung up on us.
I will not be ordering from there again.
