Made our 1st take away order with the Spondon-Peking House on Sunday 27.08.2017.
I have Coeliac Disease..gluten intolerance..so eating out or having the occasional take away can be quite a daunting experience.
As have had a lot of bad experiences, where cross contamination of food items has occurred, or the wrong option served to me all together.
It isn't a pleasant reaction.
Extreme embarrassing..and often messy!..
So months after our local Cantonese restaurant closed down, we decided to treat ourselves to a meal from here.
The lady who took my call was very knowledgeable about which food items I would be able to have off the menu & suggested a few alternatives to dishes I couldn't have.
She was even kind enough to phone me back..to warn me not to eat the free complementary items..as weren't gluten free..
They didn't go to waste..as my husband and mother in law soon ate those!..
Our food was delivered quickly, piping hot & excellent value for money.
As good sized portions.
The whole meal was delicious..
No bad reactions!..
Highly recommend for to others to try..
They had even enclosed a menu with the items I can choose from identified..also dishes that I can request a gluten free alternative to.
Would have given them 10* if that option was available!!
