The food was pretty poor quality. Ordered a delivery and the hot food dishes came out cold. The aubergine was soaked in oil. The gyoza was shriveled up. The chicken katsu curry had little curry sauce so it became rather dry and the rice mushy. The curry is normal Chinese curry flavour not Japanese curry flavour. The yakisoba was not soba, it was stir fry uncooked ramen. You know it wasn't fully cooked before stir frying because it came out chunks as opposed to string noodles. The was ok though. The special roll (Salmon wrapped roll) said there would be cream cheese and had none. I called up the shop and the assistant said there should be a little bit inside the roll. I couldn't see in it and he argued with me to say there was. I literally had to dissect every single piece and there was none. The sushi's had a lot of rice and not much filling. Do not get the spicy prawn futomaki because the prawn is a tiny thin layer. If i took it out, it was a size of a 5p coin or less. Thin as if a sheet of card thin. The sushi's did not come with any wasabi and soy sauce. I called up about that too and the assistant also argued with me. He was very rude insisting there was sauce, wasabi and ginger too. He then said in "what do i want then?" I said i wanted compensation for the roll which does not have the cream cheese. He said no..all he can do is send someone to give me the sauce, wasabi and ginger, but have to wait another 40mins. He said no refund but 20% off on next time bill. I said i didn't want 20% off because the bill already had the discount already. Anyhow the guy was rude and locked off. Didn't even say sorry. The delivery man came back 1 hour later with packets of sauce and a tub of ginger with wasabi inside. We had to eat the food otherwise it was a waste, rather unpleasant. We finished the food before the sauce came. Anyhow we didn't trust the ginger because it looked off, especially in a hot weather today. Just was an unpleasant experience. Not wanting to be racist but that guy was definitely not Japanese. Regardless of that, the food didn't taste Japanese either.
