Keith JagerApr 28, 2017Ordered via Deliveroo which does not show customer reviews on restaurants listings. Ordered Triple Roast, Northern mixed vegetables and egg fried rice.
The triple roast was only OK as the chicken and suck were both leg cuts which is ok to a degree but obviously both the cheapest cuts. I was hoping the roast pork would have been park Belly but was Char Siu. Again this was acceptable but only average. The worst dish was the mixed vegetable dish which was inedible. The vegetables were clearly tired leftovers that the restaurant wanted to dump on an unsuspecting customers. The French beans were visibly wrinkled and a week old plus.The vegetables tasted 'off' and bland. The egg fried rice was at best below average. This meal was so poor I not only will not order from Zhangs again I won't even order from Deliveroo again. Feel cheated as Birmingham has some fantastic Chinese eateries...
